Egypt Wealth Report

An indispensable tool for offshore wealth management professionals focused on the African continent. The report addresses most aspects that an offshore wealth manager wishing to work with HNWIs in Africa, in this case Egypt, would want to learn about. The report addresses in depth the profile of HNWIs, their cultural background and sensitivities, the economic sectors in which they have made their wealth, their estimated liquid and investible net worth, their interests outside work, and their preferences with respect to investment products and services. Other important factors such as the current political climate and the current state of the economy are also addressed giving a unique insight into opportunities and challenges that HNWIs have access to or face. Reference is also made to key existing local players, ie banks, family offices and local wealth managers in the wealth space. A detailed description of the high-end real estate residential areas, an important investment asset class for Egyptian HNWIs, is also addressed extensively. The report will give the required confidence to new offshore wealth managers wishing to work in Egypt as it will give them a comprehensive overview of the wealth space in the country. The author is to be commended for this report and I hope that this publication will also focus on the other main economies of Africa such as Kenya and Nigeria that are currently not well researched, at least not to the depth of this report.
